| Outline of Hometown information | １冊 ２８ｃｍ View the next 吉備津神社中番職を努めていた賀陽氏の系図である。賀陽氏は大吉備津彦命から出た加夜国造の子孫である。この系図の中に栄西（臨済宗）の名もみえる。賀陽氏は吉備津神社の神主職や大禰宜職を世襲していたが衰退し、江戸時代には祝、上番、中番、下番の四職を世襲する４家のみになっていた。この資料は中番職を世襲した賀陽氏の系図だと考えられる。上番、中番、下番とは各月の上旬、中旬、下旬に神殿の宿直にあたることを意味する。享保元年（１７１６年）に起きた事件により、賀陽氏は幕府の忌諱に触れて、吉備津神社から追放される。その後、享保１８年（１７３３年）、度々の嘆願により下社家として復職し、明治に至った。（文責：岡山県立図書館） Close the next |
