| Outline of Hometown information | 昭和8年(1933)竣工。昭和4年の津山市政施行に伴い、津山城跡の南麓に建設された新庁舎。鉄筋コンクリート造、地上三階、地下一階。当時の津山市で鉄筋コンクリート造の草分け的な建築物。外観は質素な感じであるが、昭和初期の典型的な官庁建築の特徴をよく表し、昭和57年まで市庁舎として使用された。現在は津山郷土博物館として利用されている。 |
